Ms. Lu Chen is a Finance Director with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, she worked at Ping An Group and Evergrande Group in financial and operating analysis, strategy and investor relations, Associate at KPMG Shanghai and Senior Audit at PwC New York.

Ms. Chen holds a Masters in Accounting (Transaction Services) from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor in Economics from Shanghai International Studies University. She is an AICPA and CMA.

Mr. Fuzhou Chen is a Senior Accountant with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, he worked at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor.

Mr. CHEN holds a Bachelor in Economics from Zhejiang University. He is a CPA and with Legal Professional Qualification Certificate.

Mr. Mars Duan is a Vice President with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Mars worked for Duff & Phelps Securities LLC investment banking team, PwC corporate finance team and  KPMG Shanghai audit team.

Mars is CFA charter holder and holds the CPA qualification. He graduated from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology with Bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Accounting. 

Mr. Angus He is a Vice President with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Angus was at Lincoln International.

Angus graduated with a BA. in Economics from Renmin University of China. He is a CFA charter holder.

Ms. Rui Jin is an Executive Director with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Ms. Jin was the Manager of Drug Registry and Business Development at Shanghai Genomics (TSE 2160).

Ms. Jin holds a Masters in Molecular Biology from Shanghai Normal University.

Ms. Kelly Li is a Office Manager with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, she was the Office Manager at Duff and Phelps, Guest Representative at Regus, Guest Relation Officer at Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Hotel.

Kelly graduated with a bachelor in hospitality management from Shanghai Normal University. 

Ms. Danhan Peng is an Associate with Cenova Capital. Prior to joining Cenova, Danhan worked at J.P. Morgan Investment Banking Division China Healthcare team. 

Danhan holds an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Tokyo and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Fudan University.

Mr. Xiaoyin Shen is a Managing Director with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Xiaoyin worked at China Everbright Limited Healthcare Fund I & II,  Yifang Group and Simon Murray Capital, he was previously a senior associate at the Corporate Finance division of PwC.

Mr. Shen graduated with a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Renmin University of China and University of Connecticut respectively. He was also the co-author and translator of a book, “Fair Trade for All”.

Ms. Wenwen Shen is an Accounting Supervisor with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, she worked at Renesola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) as a Finance Reporting Manager, Hellobike and Oravida.

Ms. Shen has a B.A. in International Economics and Trade from Hohai University.

Ms. Diana Shi is a Finance Manager with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Ms. Shi worked at Jifeng Ventures as a Finance Manager, EY Shanghai and Boston office as an Assurance Senior.

Ms. Diana Shi received her BS and MS degree from Northeastern University School of Business. Ms. Shi is also a Certified Public Accountant issued by AICPA.

Cenova was founded by Dr. Jun Wu, one of the earliest successful biotechnology entrepreneur in China in 2010. Dr. Wu is a Chairman and Managing Partner with Cenova Capital.

Dr. Wu came back to China in 2001 and co-founded Shanghai Genomics, one of the earliest biotech companies in China, in which he designed and implemented a successful China pharmaceutical development strategy leading to the marketing approval of the 'blockbuster' anti-IPF drug (pirfenidone, the world's first anti-fibrosis drug),a class III medical device marketing approval, and two new chemical drug IND approvals. The company went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2007, becoming one of the earliest biotechnology company in China to list aboard.

Dr. Wu has made important contributions in the field of immuno-oncology and has published over thirty high-quality research papers in professional journals, including Science, Nature, Nature Genetics, and PNAS.

Dr. Wu received a bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of California San Francisco.

Mr. Shenghua Wu is a Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Mr. Wu was a Legal heal at River Economic Belt Industry Fund Management Co., Ltd, Vice President at Greenwoods Private Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd., Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP.

Mr. WU received his LL. M from Fudan University and his LL.B from Tongji University.  

Dr. Hai Wu is a Managing Partner and CIO with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Dr. Wu served as Managing Director of China at Temasek Holdings Ltd, where he led the direct investments and fund investments in healthcare, TMT, consumer and industrial. He also served as Managing Director at CITIC Private Equity, CEO at Ramaxel Technology. He 11 years career at McKinsey & Co, where he served as Global Partner of McKinsey and Managing Partner of McKinsey Beijing office.

Dr. Wu received a bachlor's degree in physiology from Peking University, a master's degree in business administration from Cornell Johnson School of Management and a doctoral degree in Neuroscience and Cell Biology from Rutgers University/UMDNJ. 

Ms. Emily Yang is a Director with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Emily was a VP at Duff & Phelps, and worked at a risk consulting firm and PwC.

Emily received a Bachelor in International Accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, a Master in Investment Management from Cass Business School. She is a CFA charter holder and holds the ACCA qualification.

Ms. Wen Yuan is a Treasury Manager with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Ms. Wen Yuan worked as an Executive Secretary at CITIC Capital and as an Administrative Assistant in Morgan Stanley.

Ms. Yuan has a B.A. in Broadcasting and Television and a B.A. in International Economics and Trade from Shanghai University.

Dr. Min Zhang is a Partner with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Dr. Zhang was the Board Secretary and Senior Director of the Executive Office at Shanghai Genomics (TSE 2160), a life science company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Dr. Zhang with both clinical medicine and life science knowledge and experience.

Dr. Zhang received her M.D. from Fudan University Medical School.

Ms. Carroll Zhang is an Managing Director with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Carroll was the Vice President at Apricot Capital, Senior Associate at FC Capital, key role in  strategic management and operation at Valens and Healthcare Group of Far East Horizon.

Carroll received her B.S. in Pharmacy and M.S. in Biosynthesis Medicinal Chemistry from Fudan University Pharmacy School.

Dr. Kai Zhao is a Managing Partner with Cenova Capital. More than 30 years of life science and healthcare investments, hospital operation and clinical practice. Prior to Cenova, Dr. Zhao co-founded two hospital management and investment firms, SinoCare and Beijing JiaheGuokang Hospital Management and Investment Co. Ltd. , Head of Bioscience Investments of Beijing Science and Technology Venture Investment Co, Ltd. Earlier in his career, Dr. Zhao spent fourteen years practicing medicine and held various positions of increasing responsibilities at the general hospital at Shenyang Military Region.

Dr. Zhao has a M.D. and Ph.D. from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences and the Fourth Military Medical University.

Ms. Yang Zhou is a Vice President with Cenova Capital. Prior to Cenova, Ms. Zhou was an Associate of L.E.K. Consulting, focus on strategic planning of life sciences.

Ms. Zhou graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Ms. Mandy Zhu is a Senior Finance Manager with Cenova Capital. She has rich experience in fund operation management and government affairs.

Ms. Zhu graduated from Keele University and got a master of management degree.
